Gargi, born in the contemporary era, possesses all the essentials needed for a fulfilling life. She resides in a beautiful home equipped with all the luxuries one could desire. Now, at the delightful age of 15, she has transitioned into the 10th grade.

Gargi’s parents held successful positions in large organizations and earned a substantial income. Despite this, Gargi experienced frustration due to the necessity of waiting for them until approximately 9 PM after school. When they finally arrived, their conversations often escalated into arguments, which frequently resulted in fights, creating a distressing routine for her. She was dissatisfied with her home environment and often sought happiness outside, away from home.

Gargi faced similar challenges at school. Her friends often shared stories about their mothers and sometimes their fathers, discussing outings like picnics, movies, and family dinners. However, for her, these discussions were mere fantasies, as her own parents were frequently caught up in disputes and rarely had time for her on Sundays or during any holidays.

She began to distance herself from her friends as conversations about their families were becoming increasingly irritating for her. Her thoughts often drifted to comparisons with her own parents, which only added to her frustration. She frequently made excuses to avoid social gatherings, and as a result, she was experiencing a decline in both her mental and physical well-being.

For the past several years, she had been carrying a heavy burden, but this year marked a significant turning point as she entered a new phase of awareness that troubled her incessantly. She was worried about the lack of love and attention from her parents and friends, feeling as though, she had been forgotten. And the ongoing stress ultimately led her into a state of depression. She began to neglect her basic needs, ceasing to eat, sleep, or respond to her surroundings.

One evening, she unexpectedly lost consciousness, and her parents discovered her condition later that night when they returned home. Alarmed by her unresponsiveness, they quickly rushed her to the hospital and ensured, she received care from a qualified doctor. The doctor confirmed that she had moved into the third stage of depression and needs extra care to recover. 

The doctor remarked, “This outcome is a direct result of neglectful parenting. I am genuinely surprised that both of you are educated. I have rarely seen such a lack of responsibility. She has reached the third stage, and you have failed to notice this development. It is important to allow her sufficient time and to take her to some natural places outside of your current area."

She regained awareness after roughly ten days. Her parents took her home and began providing care. Yet, Gargi frequently drifted back into unconsciousness, occasionally noticing her parents nearby as they looked after her. Unfortunately, their persistent disagreements on every subject, however, continued to hurt her feelings.

After a few days, she had recovered enough to go to the bathroom without her parents' assistance. The bathroom was located close to her parents' room, and she could hear them arguing. The noise was bothersome, and as a result, she collapsed in the bathroom. Her parents quickly rushed in upon hearing the commotion and discovered Gargi lying on the floor.

They consulted the doctor once more, who administered an injection along with additional treatment. However, he was surprised to find that the previous treatments had not aided her recovery. He inquired of her parents, “Are you aware of any reasons for her high stress? Is she experiencing a relationship breakup or any other problems?” Gargi's mother responded, “No, she isn't facing such issues, but the actual cause remains unclear to us. We have made numerous efforts to find out, but we have not succeeded.” The doctor advised, “Visiting a pleasant environment may assist her in managing her stress.”

They reserved a luxurious resort in Uttarakhand for a few days and relocated there. The surroundings were delightful, both outside and within the resort. The resort itself was expansive, featuring extensive parks, swimming pools, and several fountains. 

The following day, they visited a nearby waterfall. They were captivated by the waterfall's beauty, which exhibited a powerful water flow. Suddenly, Gargi drew her parents' attention to the waterfall, exclaiming, “Do you see the magic of the waterfall? The relentless battle between the flow of water and the force of gravity has carved out the largest rock.”
